Conservative Home has a very sensible post on this week's Tories 45% top tax rate story.Little George seems to be peering down the wrong end of his tax telescope. Rather than accepting that taxes need to go up to fund the bloated state, he should be thinking about how he can scrap swathes of state crap. The Labour legacy is not too little income, it's too much profligate expenditure.
